- In case your yams are still not crispy enough, toss them around to air them and put them again for another 2 minutes in the air fryer
- If you are using the air fryer this is the last step of this recipe for you, savour the flavour
- If you are using the oven, ensure it is preheated to 420 for at least 15 minutes.
- First mix the frozen yams in the spice mix and then place them on baking sheets
- Place them in the oven at 420, for 25 mins (keep checking to avoid burnt fries)
- If the fries are not as crispy as you expect, keep them for 5 minutes longer
